Waterproofs for Pre-schools and Creches

As well as selling online, we are always delighted to supply our waterproof clothes to creches and pre-schools. Many creches and preschools have wonderful new outdoor play areas and having the kids wearing suitable outdoor wear allows them to and enjoy their outdoor play in all weathers. We offer attractive discounts for bulk orders.

It was great to get these photos recently from one of our customers, Cushing House Community Childcare in Faranree, Cork. Thanks to all the staff at Cushing House for taking and sending the photos. It’s really heart warming for us to see the kids happy in their PuddleDucks gear.

Please contact us on or call us on 021 4372917 to get details of our waterproof clothes for preschools and creches.

Our chief PuddleDucks model – through the years!

Our son Jake has always been our chief model for showing off the PuddleDucks gear. In fact, he was the inspiration for starting our business. When we started PuddleDucks early in 2005, Jake was nearly 4 – he’s now 9. So here’s a quick look back Jake’s modelling career from the past five years.

Starting with  one of our early photos showing him having fun in Currabinney Woods with his friend, Dougie. Jake is wearing his first pair of Everyday Dungarees.

In 2006, Jake is posing with our lovely dog, Rory in the garden.

In 2007, Jake is in summer mood showing of our Everyday Jacket (in the front garden)

In 2008, Jake is showing off our back to school jackets and bags.

In 2009, Jake is showing off our fleece-lined school coat. (in the back garden)

And finally here he is last week, showing off our new Blue Impact Jacket.

Time flies, doesn’t it!

More PuddleDuckers Out and About in the Snow

The latest in our series of PuddleDuck-ers Out and About comes from Roger Lamb. It shows his step-grandson William in the snow.

Roger takes up the story “Just a quick pic of William in his first outing in his Puddleducks outfit.  He is just over 18 months old  and when he unwrapped the parcel on Christmas Day he immediately knew what the jacket was for but had a bit of trouble with the trousers putting them on his head!  This was in fact his first outing in the snow.”

Many thanks Roger for sending the photo. Looks like William is having fun. I’m sure there will be many more opportunities for him to wear his PuddleDucks gear in the snow and rain.

PuddleDuckers Out and About 12

The latest installment of our series of customers photos is from Oonagh Brien from Co. Kildare. Oonagh has sent on some lovely photos of here son, Glen having great fun in his PuddleDucks All-in-One Suit. Over to Oonagh …. “We live on a working farm and I would not be without Glen’s all in one suit. It saves me a fortune on washing, he loves it and thinks he is the ultimate farmer! This picture was taken in a bog on a place in Meath called Girlie Farm.”

Thanks so much Oonagh and Glen.

PuddleDuckers Out and About 8

The latest in the series of customer stories we call “PuddleDuckers Out and About” comes from Roseanne Smith from Dublin. I love this photo of Roseanne’s two kids skipping happily to school wearing their PuddleDucks gear.

Over to you Roseanne …

Living near Dublin City we normally cycle everyday finding it the only mode of transport that allows the time needed to argue the boys up, dressed, fed and ready to go. Myself and my husband have been taking the boys on the bike since they could support themselves sitting.

When I first read about PuddleDucks gear in the Irish Times 4 or 5 years ago, I was delighted especially when I discovered the hi-vis gear the nippers are sporting here, hi-vis being essential on the bicycle during those long winter months. The other thing I like is that the gear is more than roomy enough to fit plenty of warm clothes underneath. Sadly we even need this feature here in Ireland in May!

Two other features I like are the elasticated over the shoulder straps because they allow plenty of room for growth. While I enjoy watching my children grow and  develop sometimes my wallet groans at the prospect of purchasing a whole new selection of trousers or shoes! The other features on the coats which I love is the loop to hang the coats up and also the label with the space to write the child’s name. A must-have for school! You would be amazed at the number of coats that I have had to take a needle and thread to add on a loop and a nametag.

Thanks a lot Roseanne for allowing us to post your photo and story.

If any other parents would like to tell us their experiences of their children wearing our gear please contact us at
